The Jill E. Mattice Memorial “HOPE” Run is an annual event in honor of our dear friend Jill E. Mattice, and all of our fallen police officers throughout the United States. Jill was a New York State Trooper who died in a motor vehicle accident while on duty on January 20, 2010. She was returning to the Oneonta Police barracks from her duties as a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Unadilla Valley Central School.
Jill had been with the New York State Police for over 6 years.

Proceeds from the Jill E. Mattice Memorial "HOPE" Run help to fund annual scholarships to be awarded to students from the schools where Jill served as an SRO: Unadilla Valley and Franklin Central School.
Total amount raised in 2011= $7,186
